One thing for sure, life is happening.
As “time flies” we tend to allow our life to be caught up in a routine. Unfortunately, the trap of routine makes it difficult to find time to reflect on what’s next – and life is too short to stagnate!
As an individual dedicated to becoming the best version of myself, I have found it is essential to step back and put conscious effort into introspection. I have found it is only through self-examination that we are able to assess our strengths and weaknesses so we can continue to grow and evolve.
For me, traveling has become the ultimate jump start for giving me the much needed time and space to reflect. And even more importantly, I have been consistently struck how the sensory experience of exploring new places not only inspires excitement within me, but also creativity and a greater sense of purpose. Sharing these experiences with my peers has given me the community of support to ensure the fabulous adventure is also a plan for writing that next chapter in our lives.
“Sometimes, you have to leave the city of your comfort and go into
the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover will be wonderful.
What you’ll discover is yourself.” – Alan Alda
This October, Dr. J’Lein Liese and I are launching a series of Learning Journeys and Wisdom Quests – beginning with a sold out women’s Wisdom Quest on the Amalfi Coast in Italy!
What is a Wisdom Quest? The Wisdom Quest gathers our “collective wisdom” and creates an opportunity to reflect, rejuvenate and receive support from one another. It is an opportunity to explore the pieces of yourself that may have been set aside or left behind as you have succeeded in other areas. Together, each woman will have the opportunity to examine both her professional and personal life, access the inner resources to address challenges and discover or renew a connection to the passion that makes life exciting as she writes her next chapter.
- A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she
wills without pretense, and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself and
only herself. – Maya Angelou
We are preparing to release our 2015 schedule for our Learning Journeys and Wisdom Quests with a diverse choice of itineraries. Initial destinations will include experiences in South Africa, Zambia/Victoria Falls, Nepal, Bhutan, Scottsdale, Arizona, and Park City Utah.
The Learning Journeys combine spectacular life-changing adventures (typically not available to tourists) with an opportunity to engage with the leading, local innovators solving social issues – all within a context that encourages reflection on the questions, “How has my life been impacted because of the world I live in and how do I want to impact the world because I have lived in it.”

To ensure everyone has an incredible experience, we limit our groups to twelve (12) travelers. Trips fill up quickly and we would want you to join us!
What does your next chapter look like?
Let us support you!
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things
that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream.” – Mark Twain
